Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been thinking about drafting a policy regarding the application of AI. The officers have mentioned the decision stating the aim was to prepare students for the future job market along with encouraging their creativity and inventions. The strategies are to be made keeping the long-term and short-term goals in mind according to authorities.
The plan regarding this was discussed in November 2017, however considering the fast pace of technology it can be estimated that the strategy might soon be developed and be enforced. However, there is no concrete statement regarding it.
This steadily changing landscape of Indian education along with other reforms does create questions, concerns, and relief among the Indian masses. We are yet to see how much and to what extent will the change be the question being will the State Board also expect similar changes?
