National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is an NGO taking its roots in 2008. The goal of the organization is to stimulate the establishment of sizable, high-caliber, for-profit vocational schools in order to advance skill development. Additionally, the organization offers financial support for the development of successful and scalable vocational training programs. Its mandate also includes enabling information systems, training the trainer academies, and support systems that concentrate on quality assurance and collaborations.

Through sponsoring businesses, corporations, and organizations that offer skill training, NSDC promotes skill development. Additionally, it creates suitable models to improve, facilitate, and manage efforts in the private sector. Furniture & Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) is a pioneering organization dedicated to building a robust skill ecosystem for the interior, Furniture & Allied industries in India. We integrate academic education, vocational education, and experience-based learning to create a more inclusive learning and development system.

The furniture and interior industry offers significant employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. However, the lack of formal training institutions for skilling poses a challenge. FFSC addresses this gap as a Not For Profit; industry-led body, bringing together industry partners to create tailored training programs. We focus on formalizing the existing workforce through skill certification and nurturing fresh talent.
